Practical Art presents: "Shapes" by Julio Cesar Rodarte

Practical Art
5070 N Central Ave, Phoenix AZ 85012
Sunday, March 7, 2010

Why must paint be applied only to square or rectangular canvases? Inspired by the works of Frank Stella and Elizabeth Murray, emerging artist Julio Cesar Rodarte starts his creative process by first constructing a canvas in an unusual shape. Once he has his sculptural form, he then paints on the shapes with colorful repetitive patterns, geometric shapes, forms, silhouettes, numbers, going wherever the inspiration of the form takes him. Join us for a reception Friday, March 5, 2010. 7pm.

More info: www.practical-art.com

Practical Art presents: "Shapes" by Julio Cesar Rodarte

Practical Art
5070 N Central Ave, Phoenix AZ 85012
Monday, March 8, 2010

Tuesday, March 9, 2010

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

Once he has his sculptural form, he then paints on the shapes with colorful repetitive patterns, geometric shapes, forms, silhouettes, numbers, going wherever the inspiration of the form takes him. Join us for a reception Friday, March 5, 2010. 7pm.

More info: www.practical-art.com

Practical Art presents: "Shapes" by Julio Cesar Rodarte

Practical Art
5070 N Central Ave, Phoenix AZ 85012
Friday, March 12, 2010

Inspired by the works of Frank Stella and Elizabeth Murray, emerging artist Julio Cesar Rodarte starts his creative process by first constructing a canvas in an unusual shape. Once he has his sculptural form, he then paints on the shapes with colorful repetitive patterns, geometric shapes, forms, silhouettes, numbers, going wherever the inspiration of the form takes him. Join us for a reception Friday, March 5, 2010. 7pm.

More info: www.practical-art.com
