Playball: The Cactus League Experience
Youth Events
Batter! Batter! Pow! . . . and it’s out at the ballpark, folks! AMY is set to hit a home run with upcoming exhibition: Play Ball! Spring training has a long, lucrative and influential history in Arizona, dating back to at least 1909. Play Ball celebrates over 100 years of professional baseball in Arizona as it walks you through a professional baseball time line from the sporty, barnstorming days before statehood to the inauguration of the Cactus League in 1947, up to present day with 15 teams set to play the 2010 spring training season.
The interactive and educational exhibition will treat visitors to stories of the players, teams and ballparks that the legendary boys of spring experienced when working hard each spring in the desert.

Noises Off
Arts and Culture
Noises Off pushes farce as far as it can go, following the onstage and backstage antics of a fifth-rate acting troupe touring in a new, horribly-written sex farce called Nothing On. The curtain opens on the dress rehearsal of the first act the night before it opens and with things not going well. In the second act we hear the first act of Nothing On from backstage as the wheels start to come after a month touring on the road. The third act takes us to the second month of touring. It is, deliciously so, a hilarious disaster with each act packed with more laughs than the one before it.
