Student Council “Pasta for Pennies” fundraiser
Freeport Junior High School - Culmination of Student Council “Pasta for Pennies” fundraiser (www.olivegarden.com/company/community/pasta_pennies.asp), which benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Junior High teacher Shaun Cartiff will have his head shaved at 7:15 a.m. since students raised over $1,000. Any teacher who makes an additional donation at that time gets the opportunity to participate in Mr. Cartiff’s head shaving. The homeroom collecting the most money will be awarded a pasta party delivered by the Olive Garden restaurant.
