Class is also open to people currently breastfeeding and pregnant women trying to decide if they will breastfeed.

The program will adhere to the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education and strive to become certified by the American Diabetes Association.
The classes are taught by a nurse, registered dietician, and a pharmacist. Classes are currently held in the Medical Pavilion next to the hospital, but may be moved based on room availability. An order from the patients primary care provider is required for class registration.
Cost - approximately $15/class if paid on date of service
