CATCH Me If You Can 5K Run/Walk

The 4th Annual CATCH Me If You Can 5K Run/Walk will be held Sunday afternoon, October 3rd at 3:00 pm. This scenic 3.1 mile course follows the greenbelt along the Boise River through Julia Davis and Ann Morrison parks, winds through the Ann Frank Human Rights Memorial, and finishes at the Gene Harris Bandshell. Awards will be presented to the overall top three overall male and female finishers, and post-race entertainment will be provided. There will be delicious Lilly Jane’s cupcakes and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream for all race participants. All proceeds will benefit the CATCH (Charitable Assistance to Community’s Homeless) program, and directly support homeless families with children. Holistic Moms Network Guest Presentation: The Family Balance: Nurturing Your Relationship While Being Parents with Jennifer Rizzuti, CCE, CGE Since babies and children are tuned into their surrounding environment, they are also tuned in to their parents. From the time of birth, the family becomes a system in motion. Researchers have discovered that it is the couple’s relationship that can have the greatest effect on the development and well-being of the child. We will discuss the power of a satisfied relationship and the three ways to create a Culture of Appreciation. Jennifer Rizzuti is a Certified Childbirth Education Instructor, Certified Gottman Educator and former group leader for Northwest Attachment Parenting. She has lived and worked with families in Boise from 1998-2006 and now lives and practices in Sacramento, CA with her husband Frank and two children, Joseph 12 and Isabella 5.
