Theatre: “Blithe Spirit” by Noël Coward
Regional
“Blithe Spirit” by Noël Coward runs from November 12-22 in the Center Stage Theatre at Southern Oregon University. In this classic 20th century comedy, which playfully mocks the traditions of love and marriage, novelist and socialite Charles Condomine unintentionally calls up the ghost of his first wife when he visits the “happy medium” Madame Arcati. As Elvira infiltrates the lives of Charles and his second wife Ruth, he wonders how things could be more vexing. Coward’s dexterity with word play and plot are at their height.
Performances are at 8 p.m. on Thursday-Saturday, November 12-14 and Thursday-Sunday, November 19-22, with 2 p.m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday, November 21-22.
Tickets are $20 regular, $17 senior, $5 students. Subscribers to three or more plays receive a discounted rate of $16 regular and $14 senior. Tickets are available at the door or by calling the SOU Theatre Arts Box Office at 552-6348. More information is available at sou.edu/theatre/calendar.

Holistic Childbirth Class
Health
If you are looking for something different and meaningful as you prepare for birth and parenting, you are in the right place!
Q: Do BIRTHING FROM WITHIN® Classes emphasize or teach natural birth?
A: BIRTHING FROM WITHIN classes do not exclusively promote "natural birth" or vilify hospital or medical birth. An easy, natural birth does not need to be "taught;" we cannot "make" it happen, but when it does, be grateful.

This is vastly different from striving to achieve a particular outcome, such as birthing normally, or thinking we can and should control life or birth.
Several fundamental differences make Birthing From Within classes more than just another childbirth education method. In many ways, our classes stand alone.
In your Birthing From Within classes, you will learn how to:
Experience birth as a rite of…
