Event Description: QUICK CHESS TOURNAMENTS on the 1st MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH!:
This is a USCF rated chess tournament and USCF membership is required. All USCF QUICK CHESS rules are in effect for this event. For example you do not have to record your chess moves for a QUICK CHESS event, otherwise all of the rules are the same as those that govern standard time control chess events. Event Description: In celebration of Oregon’s Sesquicentennial, Benton County Historical Society presents 150 Years of Oregon Art, an exhibition of art from the Museum’s collection. Paintings and sculpture by Oregon artists are the emphasis of the exhibition. Some of the Oregon art to be exhibited was commissioned by the Federal Works Project Administration during the 1930s, including Conrad Pedersen’s painting Portland Landscape and Duck and Beaver statues carved by Robert E.
