The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) invites you to participate in their 12th annual 1.5 walk to benefit the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition's awareness and education programs.
They will have a survivor tent, a group survivor photo, a health fair tent, team photos, food and beverages.
Walk individually or consider creating a team of 10 or more walker!

Proceeds from Historic First-Play go to Local Nonprofits
Philadelphia's first and only casino, SugarHouse Casino, announced its partnership with four Philadelphia-based non-profit organizations for two operational test days in September. All proceeds generated from the tests will be divided equally among the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania, Fraternal Order of Police Survivors' Fund, Great Philadelphia Traditions Fund, and the The Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center.
As part of the final operational approval process by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), the casino will conduct tests for table games and slots on September 20th and 22nd. During the test periods, table game and slot play is for invited guests only.
The test periods will be a dress rehearsal for the 800 new workers employed by SugarHouse. Approximately 160 of the new employees will be recent graduates of the casino's dealer school.

The test periods will be a dress rehearsal for the 800 new workers employed by SugarHouse. Approximately 160 of the new employees will be recent graduates of the casino's dealer school.
