Photographs by Everett Long around the theme “Get Close to Nature” will grace the SweetSpot Gallery, 226 Whitewater Street, Whitewater, during the months of March and April. The opening reception for the show is March 7 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. when Long will be on-hand to sign the poster that features his photograph, “Dewy Blueberries,” which won the Viewers’ Choice at the Whitewater Arts Alliance’s Members’ Show in 2009.
The poster featuring Long’s photograph as well as the posters from the last two Members’ Show winners will be available for purchase for $30 for WAA members and $35 for non-members. The 2008 poster features Dave Saalsaa’s photograph “Whitewater Summer” of Whitewater’s Fourth of July celebration. The 2007 poster features a painting, “Poppy Patch V,” by Karolyn Alexander Tscharnack. Additionally, cards by the other winners of the shows will be available for purchase as well.

Geneva Lake Art Association Spring Exhibition - Lake Geneva
The Geneva Lake Art Association 2010 Spring Exhibition, “Exploring Textures” opens Friday, February 5, 2010 and will run through Sunday, April 25, 2010.
The Spring Exhibition features works by local artists, including Donnette Behar, Sharon Larson, and Linda Marasco. Original art will include drawings, paintings, lithographs and photographs by GLAA members showcasing their works and showing how each uses their own mediums to explore the range of textures.
GLAA fosters a community awareness and appreciation of the fine arts through the arrangement of shows, monthly programs, lectures, demonstrations and workshops. Membership is open to anyone interested in the arts. GLAA sponsors an annual fine art show, Art In The Park, the second weekend of August as well as four member artist theme shows each year. Photographs by Everett Long around the theme “Get Close to Nature” will grace the SweetSpot Gallery, 226 Whitewater Street, Whitewater, during the months of March and April. The opening reception for the show is March 7 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. when Long will be on-hand to sign the poster that features his photograph, “Dewy Blueberries,” which won the Viewers’ Choice at the Whitewater Arts Alliance’s Members’ Show in 2009.
The poster featuring Long’s photograph as well as the posters from the last two Members’ Show winners will be available for purchase for $30 for WAA members and $35 for non-members. The 2008 poster features Dave Saalsaa’s photograph “Whitewater Summer” of Whitewater’s Fourth of July celebration. Photography Exhibit - Whitewater
Photographs by Everett Long around the theme “Get Close to Nature” will grace the SweetSpot Gallery, 226 Whitewater Street, Whitewater, during the months of March and April. The opening reception for the show is March 7 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. when Long will be on-hand to sign the poster that features his photograph, “Dewy Blueberries,” which won the Viewers’ Choice at the Whitewater Arts Alliance’s Members’ Show in 2009.
The poster featuring Long’s photograph as well as the posters from the last two Members’ Show winners will be available for purchase for $30 for WAA members and $35 for non-members. The 2008 poster features Dave Saalsaa’s photograph “Whitewater Summer” of Whitewater’s Fourth of July celebration. March's program will be presented by guest speaker Mr. Fred Noer. Mr. Noer, who is a black-and-white landscape photographer of the Geneva Lake area, will talk about many facets of his art. “My interest in photography can be described by two words – endless wonder,” says Noer, a Delavan resident. “I never cease to be fascinated by what can be recorded photographically and how those images affect me as well as people who view my work.”

Geneva Lake Art Association Spring Exhibition - Lake Geneva
The Geneva Lake Art Association 2010 Spring Exhibition, “Exploring Textures” opens Friday, February 5, 2010 and will run through Sunday, April 25, 2010.
The Spring Exhibition features works by local artists, including Donnette Behar, Sharon Larson, and Linda Marasco. Original art will include drawings, paintings, lithographs and photographs by GLAA members showcasing their works and showing how each uses their own mediums to explore the range of textures.
GLAA fosters a community awareness and appreciation of the fine arts through the arrangement of shows, monthly programs, lectures, demonstrations and workshops.
