Swan, Appleton, WI, will appear as the guest director of the 2010 Palm Sunday Concert on Sunday, March 28 at 3:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Church, Marshfield. He will preside over a program of sacred choral music of the season sung by the 110 voice Palm Sunday Choral Ensemble. Phillip A. Swan is the Interim Director of Choral Studies at Lawrence University and newly appointed Musical Director for LU Musicals. Swan directs Cantala (LU Women’s Choir), Jazz Singers, and the new Hybrid Ensemble, teaches courses in conducting, musical theater, music education, supervises student teachers and coaches student organized a cappella groups.
