Hewitt, WI: February 20, 2010: The Marawood County Line Riders 4-H Club is pleased to announce that their Annual Tack Swap will be Saturday, March 13, 2010. The Tack Swap includes new and gently used tack, silent auction, bake sale and food stand. The Swap features dozens of vendors and runs from 9 am to 2 pm at the Jr. Fair Building on the Central Wisconsin State Fair grounds in Marshfield, Wisconsin (just off 17th Street near the Round Barn).
A large silent auction with new items added throughout the day will be held and food and refreshments will also be available. Admission is only $1 (children 6 and under - no charge). Proceeds from the event support the educational, social and community activities of the Marawood County Line Riders 4-H Club.

Wausau Noon Optimist's 29th Annual Tri-Star Basketball Contest
This is a free event for boys & girls ages 8-13. Participants will compete in passing, shooting, and dribbling events in their own gender and age groups. Ages 8-10 will compete at 1pm followed by ages 11-13 at 2pm. There will be trophies for the winners and door prizes as well. Individual winners will be eligible to go to the state competition.

"Road To Emmaus"
Christ Lutheran Church of Eagle River will be showing the movie “Road to Emmaus” a 30 minute movie in DVD format that presents the account of the risen Jesus talking with the Emmaus disciples about His death and resurrection. The performance will be free of charge and open to the public. The showings will be Friday, March 26 at 7pm and Saturday, March 27th at 4pm in the school gymnasium. Lawrence University, Associate Professor of Music to conduct 2010 Palm Sunday Concert
Phillip A. Swan, Appleton, WI, will appear as the guest director of the 2010 Palm Sunday Concert on Sunday, March 28 at 3:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Church, Marshfield. He will preside over a program of sacred choral music of the season sung by the 110 voice Palm Sunday Choral Ensemble.
Phillip A. Swan is the Interim Director of Choral Studies at Lawrence University and newly appointed Musical Director for LU Musicals. Swan directs Cantala (LU Women’s Choir), Jazz Singers, and the new Hybrid Ensemble, teaches courses in conducting, musical theater, music education, supervises student teachers and coaches student organized a cappella groups. Swan received his BA in music education from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, MM in Choral Conducting from UT El Paso, and has completed all coursework for the DMA in Choral Conducting at the Univer…
