African American/Black and Puerto Rican/Latino Course of Studies District Information Session 3
Tuesday November 10, 2020 at 8:00am.
(Single Day Session)

In June 2019, Connecticut passed Public Act 19-12 to implement an African American/Black and Puerto Rican/Latino Course of Studies at the high school level. This session is designed to provide district and school leaders with information to guide local decision-making regarding implementation of this course in the 2021-2022 or 2022-2023 school year. Participants will learn from CSDE and SERC Consultants about the curriculum development process and anticipated next steps.

District teams of three, including curriculum administrators, are invited to attend. Teams are encouraged to participate in ONE of the four one-hour virtual sessions offered, as schedules permit.

Materials and Q&A from each session will be compiled and shared with all districts after the conclusion of the final session.
