About the presenterNikki High is the owner and founder of Pasadena’s only Black Woman Owned Bookstore, Octavia’s Bookshelf.
Octavia’s Bookshelf is dedicated to uplifting BIPOC writers, creating space for community, and passionately encouraging a love for books while celebrating and honoring the words and wisdom of Pasadena hometown legend, Octavia Butler.
