From the Garden at the Bob Lucas Branch Library is a monthly program for community members to come work in our garden, learn about local culture and history, nutrition and gardening. This month, learn about the importance of local native plants and our own role in the ecosystem from Master Gardener Tahereh Sheerazie and Learning Naturalist Levi Brewster as they facilitate an outdoor, hands-on workshop. In addition to a lecture, participants will help plant native flora to expand our existing demonstration garden. Gloves, tools and other supplies will be provided. Please bring a hat, sunscreen and water.
