The John Paul Pryor Memorial PennTRAC Conference is hosted by the Division of Traumatology, Surgical CriticalCare & Emergency Surgery and was the vision of Dr. John Paul Pryor, former Trauma Program Medical Director for the Trauma Center at Penn Medicine. PennTRAC aims to provide in-depth, cutting-edge and state-of-the-artinformation in the field of Trauma and Critical Care and is designed to review the management of the severely ill and injured patient.
The conference seeks to cover a wide range of Trauma and Critical Care topics from standard-of-care principles to emerging theoretical and practical medicine and science. Multi-disciplinary topics typically explored are surgical technique, resuscitation, infection, respiratory care, nutrition, prehospital care, ethics, research, theoretical and practical issues in the care of the patient.
