The Flexible Teaching Certificate (FTC) is a six-week tutorial course, designed to get faculty comfortable with new classroom technology, designing equitable course content (regardless of delivery modality), digital accessibility, Universal Design for Learning principles, and much more!  Colleagues enrolled in the FTC course will model a “HyFlex” classroom which will allow each participant the flexibility to participate in the course face-to-face, synchronously online, asynchronously online, or some combination of these three elements. 

Participants should plan on spending approximately 2-4 hours per week to cover weekly modules in addition to a weekly synchronous hour meeting each week.  Participants should also plan on attending at least one in-person/on-campus session during the 6-week course.
