In this two-part training, KU employee participants will engage in intrapersonal reflection, learn key concepts, and strengthen their interpersonal engagement strategies for fostering belonging in their workplace.
In Part 1, participants will be introduced to and explore key concepts including but not limited to: belonging, psychological safety, social identities, and bias, through the lens of KU’s IRISE values.
Attendees should register for both parts of the training: one Foundational Concepts session and one Discussion session. Attendees should not attend a discussion session prior to the two-hour Foundational Concepts course. This pre-scheduled training is open to all KU employees. Additional dates will be added for the remainder of 2026. Groups may request a session just for their unit and/or other training content by contacting belonging@ku.edu.
