This session focuses on the practical steps required to identify a compliant business location and engage effectively with local governments. Participants will learn how to:

Review zoning classifications.
Interpret local ordinances.
Understand buffer and setback requirements.
Prepare for city review processes or public hearings.

The discussion will also address common challenges applicants encounter and offer strategies for building constructive relationships with city staff, planning departments, and elected officials.

Following the conversation, attendees are invited to stay for an informal networking period to connect with peers, community partners, and others interested in advancing Social Equity in Central Minnesota.
