The Mississippi Department of Education, through the Office of Special Education, is pleased to offer the Let's See Eye to Eye special education chat for February. This month's topic is the Classroom Strategies for Students with Low Vision. This special education chat is for teachers who instruct students with visual impairments. The chat’s purpose is to create a strong community of educators collaborating and sharing resources. During this session we will have a guest speaker, Jane D. Harty, certified teacher of the visually impaired. Jane is an itinerant teacher serving students in their local school districts.
