Kat Primeau (she/her) is an artist, grief doula, and peer support specialist. Her personal experience includes caregiving for her dad, John, who had frontotemporal degeneration and ALS, and her grandmother, Jackie, who had Alzheimer’s. Since 2021, she has supported individuals with creative grief release, ritual guidance, and death cleaning, harnessing the transformative power of grief for good as the “Good Grief Doula.” Kat’s approach involves leveraging creative modalities to address the unique needs of individuals as they integrate pain and love and find value-driven meaning in life after loss. Mariana Reyes, is a Program Coordinator for the Division of Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Ms. Reyes provides programmatic and administrative support to the Healthy Brain LA program which is comprised of several initiatives focused on addressing dementia in Los Angeles County. Previously, she worked on the Los Angeles County Sodium Reduction Initiative, which aimed to reduce sodium consumption at the population level. Ms. Reyes received her B.S. in Health Education from the University of Florida, and a Master’s degree in Public Health UCLA’s Fielding School of Public Health. Roxy Kirakosyan is the Director of Education and Outreach at Alzheimer's Los Angeles. Roxy is a Certified Health Education Specialist and has her Master of Public Health from California State University, Northridge. She has been an educator in the field of Alzheimer's and dementia for the past eight years and has also taught evidence-based memory training programs through the UCLA Longevity Center.
