Department of Medicine Research Day has celebrated research efforts across the department since 2008. The event brings together researchers from all divisions and provides an opportunity to share exciting new findings, facilitate scientific exchange, and identify potential new collaborations.
This year's program includes both oral and poster presentations, as well as a keynote address titled, "Understanding inherited forms of prostate cancer: from familial risk to metastatic prostate cancer," from Kathleen Ann Cooney, MD, George Barth Geller Distinguished Professor of Medicine and Chair of the Department of Medicine at Duke University. Awards are given at the conclusion of the day to recognize the most outstanding presentations.
