Share a safe space where we can all join, practice, share in community, and nurture our creativity! You will enjoy a guided meditation to release stress and clear away the mental chatter so we can then create freely from our hearts without judgment.
Bring whatever you would like to work on for the last part of class. We will listen to music as we create and then share with the community!
Ideas to bring: journaling, knitting, painting, sketching, coloring books, working on a book or script, poetry, scrapbook, vision board or whatever would bring you joy to create!
We will have art supplies available if you are without a project.
This session is for adults. Space is limited, and registration is required.About the presenter:Amy Rutledge came to the study of meditation as a path toward personal healing after struggles with the effects of Lyme Disease as well as depression and anxiety and found that it helped her in ways when many other approaches failed. This lead her to training as a Mindful Meditation Teacher at the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science in Manhattan. Through the institute she learned the science and practice of mindfulness meditation, methods of mindfulness for self-healing, the healing applications of loving-kindness meditation and the methods of confidence building through mindfulness and loving-kindness practice.
