Saturday, April 22, 2023, 10am – 4pm PDT

You will learn how to scour and mordant a cotton t-shirt to prepare the garment for printing from Altadena Library Artist-in-Residence Linda Illumanardi.  You also will have the opportunity to test samples, allowing you to choose the leaves you most love for the final t-shirt project.

Requirements

• Space is limited and registration required. We are looking for participants able to commit to both sessions. The two sessions are a single series so only one registration is required. 
• The instructor requires bundling experience to enroll in this series. If you have taken any of Linda Illumanardi's previous workshops or have bundled in other classes, you are welcome to enroll!
• Students need to bring a white, 100% cotton t-shirt. A t-shirt that has been worn, washed and dried multiple times is ideal. If you need to purchase a new t-shirt, buying a size larger is recommended as the scouring process can shrink it significantly.
