Orienteering:

This Active Kids activity is all about orienteering at Robelle Domain. It is an outdoor sport session, where participants navigate and find ‘points’ marked on maps around an area.

This session will be run utilising Maprun6 – a smartphone app designed that shows an orienteering course without paper map. To participate, you will need to download the app and use it for the duration of the activity. Everyone will start the activity from a location in Robelle Domain that will be sent to those who register.

You'll need to download the app, and enter some basic registration details (please note: if child’s anonymity is essential, they should enter only their first name and initial, or an alternative pseudonym to preserve their identity).

Please wear sturdy footwear, comfortable clothes for walking or running, sunscreen and a hat, and bring your own water bottle and a smart phone with the App downloaded.

All ages are welcome but will need to be accompanied by an adult for the activity. The younger the children the less they will understand of the challenge (maps and space) but they can still enjoy the activity.
