Cucumbers, dilly beans, okra, peppers, and more...From quick & easy refrigerator pickles to the art & science (and nutrition!) behind lacto-fermented foods, learn the basics of preserving this summer's harvest. Presented by Tiffany Schultz, local chef and volunteer manager of the Friends of the Leicester Library Giving Garden, this class will be a hands-on demonstration and experience. This event is free, but space is limited and registration is required.All materials will be provided, including produce from the Leicester Library Giving Garden.
