Come learn the basics of ArcGIS Pro desktop GIS software. This software is Windows-only and will be available on the classroom computers. This workshop will cover a brief comparison of GIS and mapping tools and an overview of the ArcGIS Pro interface, as well as adding and displaying spatial data, modifying symbology and labels, some basic data manipulation and analysis tools, and creating a map layout. This workshop will especially benefit users who have used lighter web-based mapping tools and are curious about the expanded capabilities of desktop software. However, beginners of all sorts are welcome!
