The Mississippi Department of Education, through the Office of Special Education, is pleased to offer the Supporting the ONE Percent special education chat for November. It will include the topic of the Mississippi Alternate Academic Achievement Standards (MS AAAS). This special education chat is for teachers who instruct students with significant cognitive disabilities. The chat’s purpose is to create a strong community of educators collaborating and sharing resources. The session will be facilitated by Denise Harrison, Special Education Professional Development Coordinator.
