“BookFest 2020: Recommendations for Reading Now”

Now that we are in social isolation, we are in the process of planning for an ongoing series of Virtual Lunch Colloquiums that will allow the interested to “attend” by means of Zoom. For our first, we are seeking volunteers among our members willing to offer brief presentations on favorite books (or perhaps book series) that they have enjoyed and think others might enjoy, too, during this time when we probably all will have much more time to read than usual. Please consider what you yourself might recommend by way of some light (or maybe not-so-light) reading. And please let Gretchen Schulz (gschulz@emory.edu) know if you’d like to claim, say, 10 minutes of our Colloquium time to offer your recommendations.
