While we often know how to act in a physical emergency, a mental health crisis can leave us uncertain. Mental health touches us all, and it can be intimidating to recognize signs of depression or to step in regarding someone’s substance use. This series will explore these delicate issues, shedding light on how to address them and underscoring the importance of this understanding. By equipping ourselves with the necessary knowledge and tools, we cultivate a nurturing environment where open dialogue about mental health is welcomed. The Mental Health Navigator is crafted to make you an informed supporter, a compassionate listener, and a pathway for critical resources. Just as we learn CPR to save lives, gaining insight into mental health can be just as impactful.
