Gradescope is an online grading tool that allows paper-based assignments to be scanned, submitted, graded, and analyzed quickly and efficiently. Gradescope has two primary use cases:
1) For teachers of any subject, Gradescope's bubble sheet scanning function provides a method for grading paper-based exams online. This is an excellent substitute for instructors who were using Scantron. (Scantron is no longer available at Emory.)
2) For any subject that requires students to submit work that can't be easily created with a keyboard, for example math equations, formulae, graphs, drawings, diagrams etc, Gradescope provides a tool that allows instructors to grade those items online. |
