Retirement II:  Return of the Asset Allocators

The seminar will be led by two EUEC members, Peter Sebel, MB BS, PhD, MBA, Professor of Anesthesiology, and Frank Gordon, PhD, Professor Emeritus of Pharmacology.  Dr. Sebel will speak about estimation of fixed and variable expenses, funding sources for retirement (investments/Emory retirement/Social Security), simulations of retirement outcomes, and the issue of financial advisors.  Dr. Gordon will talk about asset allocation—what is it and why do it? –and index funds--why average is good enough.  After these presentations, there will be opportunity for lots of questions from the audience.
