Rauni Salminen is co-founder and executive director, Philip Aziz Centre for Hospice Care as well as Emily’s House. She has extensive experience in palliative care, HIV support programs, international community initiatives and chaplaincy. The Philip Aziz Centre is a non-profit hospice for children and adults established in 1995. She also launched the centre’s 10-bed pediatric palliative care hospice, Emily’s House, which was the first in Toronto and sixth in Canada.

Julia Lee is a family physician who has practiced obstetrics, emergency medicine, geriatric care and palliative care over the years. She teaches at the University of Toronto and McMaster University, and is also currently a part-time student at Wycliffe College.
